October 29th of 2021, El Modena held its annual fall festival in the nature center. Within the course of one school day, the visual and preforming arts students preformed and presented their works to those who visited the festival.
The Nature center is an amazing resource for the students of El Modena to hold events and learn how to take care of nature.
Choir started with a spooky performance of "This is Halloween" from the Nightmare before Christmas. Following two plays were preformed by the theatre group of El Modena titled "Vampire" and "The Perfect Mask". Both were entertaining and the actors were excellent.
Ms. Z's dancers came next, which preformed a dance from The Wizard of Oz called "Jitterbug". Each group consisted of four dancers dancing with each other around the nature center.
The band students of Mr. Gillen preformed two songs, both of which were very catchy and made you want to tap your feet along.
Placed throughout the nature center were painted pumpkins created by art students at El Modena. Each pumpkin had a theme and was creative and detailed in the painting.
Upon entering, you would find the graphic design projects, which were pictures modified to have a spooky surprise within in them.
